Cambridge World Rivers Day Festival 2011

Here are some photos from the River Festival. I really don't think it could have gone any better. The weather was perfect, we had big crowds- between 3,000 and 6,000 people!- who seemed to genuinely be enjoying themselves, the open boats, music, food, craft and workshops were all successful and popular. James opened the boat to visitors for most of the day and we had a steady stream of interested people. Lyra sat on the table and was the centre of attention!

So, thanks, to everyone who visited, or helped in any way. I really hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!

  1. It was a most unexpected find for sure. I was very supprised to see the interest it generated.

We were in CB for a party the night before and decided we would have the day in the city. Glad we chose that side of town to park on.
